The Tualatin Rotary Club is a service club made up of aprroximately 50 members who either work or reside in the Tualatin area. We are all dedicated to Service Above Self. Through Rotary International we serve the needs of both our local and international communities. Here are a few highlights of the various activities that we are involved in. For more detailed information about our service efforts please see our Services Section.
We sponsor both an in-bound and out-bound exchange student each year
We provide Dictionaries to all third grade students in the Tualatin School District
We help support the Tualatin Food Pantry and provide monthly emergency dental care
We sponsor a mentorship program for Hispanic youth called Intercambio.
We provide four year college scholarships to First Generation College Students
We raise money and coordinate special projects world wide, such as a minivan we purchased for a child care facility in Roblealto, Costa Rica.
We participate in Rotary International's effort to eradicate polio worldwide
We are an active and fun loving group and are known for having the best luncheon throughout our Rotary District. We meet at noon on Wednesdays at the Tualatin Country Club.
If you've ever wondered what Rotary was all about, please come join us for lunch or Contact Us and we will get in touch with you.
Rotarians are asked to apply ROTARY’S FOUR-WAY TEST to their daily lives, and always ask themselves, “Of the things we think, say or do,”
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
